With the deadline to receive nominations for different Alternate NVP positions now closed, CEIU would also like to congratulate Britt Gunn on being acclaimed as the Alternate NVP for IRB.

Having received more than one nomination for the other positions, CEIU will be proceeding with elections for the following positions:  

• Alternate NVP for BC/YT
• Alternate NVP for Alberta/NWT/Nunavut
• Alternate NVP for MAN/SASK
• Alternate NVPs for Ontario
• Alternate NVPs for NCR
• Alternate NVPs for Quebec
• Alternate NVP for NL/NS
• Alternate NVP for NB/PEI
• Alternate NVPs for Women’s Issues, Western Region
• Alternate NVPs for Women’s Issues, Eastern Region
• Alternate NVP for Human Rights
• Alternate NVP for IRCC

The election for the above-named elections will start at 9 a.m. (EST) on July 31st, until 9:00 p.m. (EST) on August 8th, 2023.

Simply Voting Inc, has been hired as the independent third-party election provider to conduct these elections.  Members will be able to vote online, or by telephone starting at 9 a.m. (EST) on July 31st, 2023, for all the respective elections for which they are entitled to vote.

Members should be receiving a letter in the mail with their personal elector id and password from Simply Voting allowing you to vote.  Emails will also be sent out by Simply Voting on July 31st, for those we have personal email addresses for.
