For the second callout for the year 2023, the Canada Employment and Immigration Union (CEIU) received a total of 63 applications from across the country.
The candidates selected to receive one of the five $5,000 CEIU National Scholarships were awarded on a merit basis and approved by the CEIU National Executive (NE) at the beginning of April. The candidates receiving a scholarship are:
-Brittany Spicer, CEIU member, Local 534 in Ontario
-Viswajit Kuttuva Sriganesh, dependent of Niranchena Devi Anna Vijayagopallan, CEIU member, Local 541 in Ontario
-Keerit Brar, dependent of Ruby Brar, CEIU member, Local 20910 in B.C.
-Sean Maverick Celi, CEIU member, Local 20938 in B.C.
-Paul Sararu, dependent of Elena Sararu, CEIU member, Local 30877 in Alberta
The CEIU National Executive wishes to congratulate all the winners of the second scholarship callout for 2023 and also would like to thank all of the applicants for submitting their application and necessary documents.
